Lagos Island Local Government Holds Open Bid For Road Construction At The Local Government Secretariat
The premier local government on Thursday 7th march 2024 opened Bid for construction of road within the local government environs, In line with the state government policy of Governor Babajide olusola sanwo Olu Administration for construction of 114 Road within the local government/LCDA’S jurisdiction’s 1 , Offin canal street (lot 2) for construction for Lagos island local government.
The open bid Exercise was carried out for three contractors 1, TADBAD MANDATE VENTIRES 2, BABKAZ CONTRACTOR LTD 3, KAZCAR ENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LTD.
The vice chairman in his address welcomed the contractors and assured the contractors that the selection process for the choice of the contractor would be make with openness and transparency to all parties involved, on the choice of the contractor to embark on the road constructions . The vice chairman advised the contractors that emerge for the construction of road to give the best for the local government because the Executive chairman prince Tijani Adetoyese Olusi, the vice chairman prince Mohammad Rosul Esinlokun aswell as other political office holders as a public servant that all eyes are on them to give out proper dividends of democracy to the people they represent.
The secretary for the tender board , the procurement officer Mrs olowookere Adijat Titilola aswell welcomed the contractors, she thereafter opened the Bid box and also reads out each contractors documents, the procurement officer also stated that the best and ideal work is expected from the contractor that will be chosen eventually for the construction of the envisaged roads .
In attendance at the event were the vice chairman prince Muhammad Rosul Esinlokun, the chief of staff Honorable Olaigbade yusuff, , honorable Thomas lukman , Director procurement from office of head of service , representing public Agency ,Mr Akinsupo Babatunde, the council engineer, Engr Olusegun Amu Michael , legal officer, barrister Hakeem kareem, procurement officer Mrs Olowookere Adijat, and other management staff of the local government were also in attendance.
